Platform / Clip Studio

Turn long videos into social clips.

Video repurposing inside Onveo: open a video from your library, cut the moments worth sharing, reframe them for social and render them in full quality from the original master.

An editor where your videos already are

Everything a clip needs, nothing it doesn't.

Timeline editing

Trim, split and arrange clips on a multitrack timeline with precise in and out points.

Reframe for social

Export 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5, with text, filters, speed and fades.

No source download

You edit against a secure stream. The original file stays in your storage.

Render

Full quality, back in your library.

When you export, the clip is rendered on the server from the original master, not from the preview. It returns to your library as a new video, ready to publish.

  • Server-side render from the master
  • Clips become regular library videos
  • Publish them in your player or share them on social

Your questions, answered.

What is video repurposing?

Reusing a long video, such as a webinar, a council meeting or a broadcast, as short clips for social platforms and your site. One recording ends up working in more places.

Does Clip Studio pick the clips automatically?

No. You choose the moments. Automatic clipping and captions are not part of Clip Studio today.

Do I need to download the video first?

No. Clip Studio works in the browser on videos already in your Onveo library.
